Sussex Academy batter Henry Rogers made his maiden half-century for the England U19s yesterday as they beat Ireland by 209 runs in a warm-up One Day International.
The 17-year-old opened the batting with Durham's Ben McKinney, making 56 runs from just 53 balls to help setup the victory as the England U19s prepare for a five-match ODI series against Australia U19s.
The final two games of the series will be played at The 1st Central County Ground on September 2nd and 4th.
