Glenn Douglas To Step Down as Non-Executive Director

20 Feb 2026

Statement from Martin Richards, Acting Chair of Sussex Cricket.

Glenn Douglas has resigned from the Board of Sussex Cricket with immediate effect.

Glenn joined the Board in September 2024 as Chair of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and brought with him significant experience from a distinguished career in public service, alongside a long-standing personal commitment to Sussex Cricket as a Life Member. He has given significant time and energy to the Club during a demanding period.

Glenn and I share a background in senior public service leadership and a passion for Sussex Cricket, and I am grateful for the time he has given to the Board. On behalf of the Club, I thank him for his service.

As we continue to strengthen our governance and financial oversight, our focus remains firmly on ensuring stability, transparency and long-term sustainability for Sussex Cricket.
