Four more Sharks join Rashid Khan in Afghanistan Premier League

UPDATE 26/9/18: Chris Jordan is no longer appearing in the competition.

Rashid Khan will be joined by four other Sussex players at the inaugural Afghanistan Premier League that takes place in the UAE next month.

Laurie Evans, Chris Jordan, Tymal Mills and Luke Wright were picked up in the competition draft on Monday evening. Rashid is one of the ‘icon’ players announced by the five franchises ahead of the draft.

Rashid and Evans will represent Kabul in the tournament that runs from Friday 5th October to Sunday 21st October. Jordan and Wright form part of the Paktia squad, while Mills is on the Kandahar roster.

The other two teams are from Balkh and Nangarhar.
