The ECB have today announced that following a request from Sri Lanka Cricket due to the confirmation of the women’s cricket tournament at the 2023 Asian Games, the England & Wales Cricket Board have mutually agreed to a schedule change to the England Women’s white-ball home series against Sri Lanka planned for September.
This news means that the fixture that was due to be played at The 1st Central County Ground on September 17th has now been moved and will be played on Thursday 31st August.
The game has now been changed to an IT20 with play getting underway from 6:00pm.
If you’ve already purchased a ticket
For those spectators who have already purchased a ticket for the original date, these are yet to be dispatched and will be automatically transferred to the new date, before sending them out to you directly.
Can’t make the new date?
If you are unable to make the game on Thursday 31st August, please call the Box Office on 01273 827100 and we will provide you a refund.
Purchased hospitality?
If you have already purchased a match day hospitality package for the fixture, our Corporate Sales team will be in touch directly to discuss your options.
