Danni Wyatt helps England to series win over Australia

19 Jul 2023

Sussex's Danni Wyatt scored a quick-fire 43 from 25 balls to help England to another historical series win over Australia as they drew the Ashes.

England set Australia 286 to win in the third and final Metro Bank ODI but Australia were unable to reach a revised DLS total of 269 thanks to some excellent bowling and fielding from the home side.

Wyatt also picked up the crucial run-out of Ashleigh Gardner to help shift the momentum in the game.

The ODI series win meant the Ashes was drawn and that Australia would retain the urn, however the impact of the series on the game would go much further.

The teams sold out a number of venues throughout the series, breaking a number of records along the way.

If you missed out on tickets to a sensational series, now is your chance to see the England Women in action at The 1st Central County Ground this summer!

England Women will take on Sri Lanka Women in an IT20 fixture at Hove on the 31st August. It will be the team's first game since the Ashes concluded.

Tickets start at just £1 for U14's, £5 for U18s and £10 for adults! To get your tickets now click here or call the Box Office on 01273 827100
