Yesterday girls from Brighton and Hove Cricket Club were invited to The 1st Central County Ground for a special day to watch their England heroes train and prepare for the upcoming IT20 against Sri Lanka.
Thanks to Cinch and the Sussex Cricket Foundation, the group were welcomed to Hove to see the stars in action and were also gifted with their own England Women's shirts, before having an opportunity to meet the players and collect their autographs.
After spending the morning watching the likes of Heather Knight, Freya Kemp and Sarah Glenn go through their preparations, members of the England Women's team met the girls to sign shirts, bats and bucket hats, as well as take pictures.
Katie Jeswani, Brighton & Hove Cricket Club U13 Girls Manager, said: “Thank you so much for inviting the girls to watch the England women’s team train today.
"They were delighted to get the chance to collect autographs and take photos with the players. Opportunity’s like these really inspire the girls.
"They are our potential stars of the future, whether that be for their school, club, county or country. They left today in their England shirts with such enthusiasm for the sport and can’t wait to see them play on Thursday!”
