Georgia Adams (c)
Izzy Collis
Chiara Green
Nancy Harman
Beth Harvey
Freya Kemp
Rachel King (wk)
Cassidy McCarthy
Ella McCaughan
Tara Norris
Paige Scholfield
Mary Taylor
Millie Taylor
Walker underlined the importance of these fixtures in a busy domestic summer: "The incredible rise of professional domestic women's cricket means that the players are set for one of their busiest summers ever.
“We are incredibly proud that so many of the 1st XI have already played in the regional competitions and The Hundred, as well as several young players vying for their Regional debuts this season.
“Being able to play competitive cricket with their county as a prelude to this exciting summer of cricket is a real treat. Everyone is passionate about the county and being able to put the shirt on again in an ECB competition is fantastic.
“Later in the season we have the London Championship and South Central Cup to allow more players to put their name in the frame for regional places too. But, at the moment we are firmly focussed on playing great T20 cricket over the next few weeks with some of our very best players against some of the strongest domestic sides in the country.”
The squad includes Southern Viper professional players Georgia Adams, Tara Norris and Paige Scholfield, as well as many extended squad players. Rachel King will make her debut for Sussex as a loan wicket keeper from Hampshire, and is also part of the Southern Vipers academy.
Captain Georgia Adams can’t wait to get going: "We are excited to get the season off and running for Sussex. It is a jam-packed season with plenty to look forward to with the Southern Vipers and the Southern Brave. However, it’s always brilliant to put the Sussex shirt on and play some great cricket early in the season."
