NATIONAL PROGRAMMES

All Stars Cricket is the England & Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) entry level participation programme, aimed at providing boys and girls aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket.

Dynamos Cricket provides a fantastic next step for all those graduating from All Stars Cricket and the perfect introduction for all 8-11 year-olds new to the sport!

Complementing junior cricket, Dynamos provides children with a more social offer focused on developing fundamental movement skills and applying them in an exciting game of countdown cricket.

We know how important it is to look like the heroes of the game, so every child who registers will receive their very own Dynamos Cricket New Balance t-shirt, personalised with their name and number.

As we approach the deadline before the system goes live, all Clubspark checklists MUST be completed in order to go ‘live’ on the launch date.

Clubspark Engage is Live - Club Action Required by 12th March – Any later and there is risk of programmes not going live!

• Returning providers can now log into Clubspark and complete the checklist for approval.
• Checklist requirements:
• Club registration
• Connected Stripe account
• Safeguarding & First Aid
• Liability Insurance (upload confirmation if insured via ECB Howdens – you can upload a confirmation email and you can find this on the SHMS)
• Key Club contact
• Minimum 1x Qualified Activator (18+, trained, or booked on an upcoming course; 1 Activator per 24 children)
• Ensure your Safe Hands Management System (SHMS) is up to date.
• Once approved, you can upload your programmes. From 13th March, live bookings will be open. Any checklists not completed or approve will not go live, so please so ensure you are actioning this ASAP.

Activators are the key ingredient to making All Stars and Dynamos Cricket happen. Thanks to each of you, more kids than ever before are able to play and fall in love with cricket. 

Activators must complete the initial training which includes;

• ECB verified DBS check
• National Programmes eLearning course
• ECB Safeguarding for Specialised Roles: Coaches & Activators eLearning course
• National Programmes Face-to-Face Training Workshop

Existing Activators must keep their qualifications up-to-date to remain fully qualified.

Sussex Foundation is running four in-person Activator training courses.

It is a requirement for anyone delivering the course to have completed Activator training. Sessions MUST be attended in person and are approx. 1.5-2 hours.

• North: Wed, 16 April – Balcombe CC, RH17 6PA (5-7 PM)
• East: Mon, 14 April – Heathfield Park CC, TN21 9AE (6:30-8:30 PM)
• South: Tue, 22 April – 1st Central County Ground, BN3 3AN (6-8 PM)
• West: Sat, 26 April – Storrington CC, RH20 4EA (10 AM-12 PM)

Clubs can book onto these courses via Clubspark.
