Chris Jordan jets into New Zealand for Super Smash stint ahead of Big Bash

Sussex’s Chris Jordan has travelled to New Zealand where he will be available for Northern Knights' next two matches in this year’s Super Smash T20 competition.

Jordan is set to play in the Knights’ matches against Auckland Aces on Sunday 6th January and Canterbury Kings on Wednesday 9th January.

This will be the 30-year-old’s second stint with the Hamilton-based outfit. Jordan played seven matches for the team in last year’s Super Smash, including the final against Central Stags, which they won by nine wickets.

Following his time with the Knights, the England all-rounder will then travel to Australia to join up with Sydney Thunder for the remainder of the on-going Big Bash tournament.
