Where Cricket Meets…Michael Vaughan plus special guest, tickets on sale now!

The Sussex Cricket Foundation is delighted to announce that tickets to their annual fundraiser event ‘Where Cricket Meets…Michael Vaughan’ on Thursday 28th March 2024 are on sale now. 

Held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, this year’s event will feature former England and Ashes winning captain Michael Vaughan as the guest speaker. 

Mystery special guest to be announced in the coming weeks!

The Sussex Cricket Foundation is delighted to announce that a new special mystery guest will be joining Michael Vaughan on the night. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for the big announcement. You won't want to miss out on this!

Vaughan will share stories from his glittering playing career, including anecdotes from one of the greatest Test series in the history of the game, the 2005 Ashes series in England. 

Speaking on the event, Michael Vaughan said: “I’m really excited to be supporting the Sussex Cricket Foundation with their fundraising, helping to support all the amazing work they carry out across the county, to increase participation and continue to make the game accessible to all.  

“I look forward to meeting everyone and having a fantastic afternoon in Sussex!” 

The annual event aims to raise vital funds to support the Foundation’s projects and initiatives to help actively change the lives through the power of cricket, create opportunities to play the game and continue to make cricket as accessible to as many people as possible. 

Gary Wallis-Tayler, Community Director for the Sussex Cricket Foundation said: “I am delighted that Michael has agreed to be our guest speaker at our headline Foundation event.

"This is an important event for us, as it helps raise significant funds to enable us to continue growing the game across Sussex. I look forward to seeing as many people there as possible at what should be another hugely successful event” 

This year’s headline sponsor will be Webtrends Optimize, one of Sussex Cricket’s corporate and community partners.

Guests will enjoy a three-course meal, listen to stories from Michael Vaughan, as well as having the opportunity to take part in games and a silent auction. 

Ticket information

Tables of ten are priced at £1,000 or individual tickets can be purchased at £125pp, with all funds going directly to the Sussex Cricket Foundation.
