The Sussex Cricket Foundation is delighted to announce a new partnership with Sixes Social Cricket in Brighton.
Powered by cutting-edge sports technology, with challenge levels from complete beginner to World Class, contenders select their level, step into the batting nets, and test their batting skills against some of the World's greatest bowlers. The Sixes experience is about so much more than just cricket.
Opened just this month, the social entertainment bar is the eighth of the company’s sites and is based at the iconic Brighton i360 on the seafront.
The Sussex Cricket Foundation and Sixes will now work to deliver even more cricketing opportunities and experiences for people within the County in a social setting, whilst also working together to raise vital funds for the Foundation to support their initiatives.
Visitors to Sixes will be able to make a voluntary £1 donation to the Sussex Cricket Foundation on top of their transactions, whilst players at affiliated clubs as well as students & teachers at schools across the County, will be able to make use of an exclusive discount for the immersive experience.
Gary Wallis-Tayler, Community Director for the Sussex Cricket Foundation said: “Sixes will offer the local community a fun, accessible opportunity for all, to sample the game in a social setting.
“We hope this partnership will attract a new audience into the game and drive new supporters to Sussex Cricket in the future.
“I am excited to be working closely with the team at Sixes and thank them for supporting the Foundation, to help raise funds to support growing the game across Sussex.”
As well as providing money off for local schools and clubs, Sussex Cricket Members will also be able to take advantage of their own exclusive discount.
Sixes will also have a presence at The 1st Central County Ground during the season, bringing activities to games to engage with spectators at Hove.
Sixes CEO & Co-Founder, Calum Mackinnon, says: “We are delighted to support the incredible work Sussex Cricket Foundation do in the community.
“Putting cricket in accessible environments for people of all abilities and backgrounds to enjoy is something we’re incredibly proud of.
“We’re continuing to create the biggest cricket party in the world and attracting new audiences to the game is integral to this!”
