The schedule for England Lions’ tour of Australia next February and March has been announced.
The side will play three one-day matches against a Cricket Australia XI on the Gold Coast, two one-day matches against New South Wales in Sydney before taking on a Cricket Australia XI, New South Wales and Australia A in four-day matches in Hobart, Melbourne and Woolongong.
Gloucestershire head coach, Richard Dawson will act as head coach for the tour that departs on Tuesday 21st January.
He will be joined by batting coaches Marcus Trescothick and Jonathan Trott, pace coach Jason Kerr, fielding coach Carl Hopkinson and wicketkeeping coach Bruce French.
Sussex’s Ollie Robinson will be hopeful of selection for the tour having featured for the Lions in a four-day match against Australia A this summer.
The seamer took 63 wickets in eleven County Championship appearances in 2019, having bagged 74 scalps in 14 matches in the previous year’s competition.
