Rain washes out Sunday's Vitality Blast match against Hampshire

29 Jul 2018

Persistent rain forced the abandonment of Sussex Sharks' Vitality Blast match against Hampshire at The 1st Central County Ground on Sunday.

With no prospect of the rain abating in time for the groundstaff to prepare the pitch ahead of the 5.27pm cut off for the commencement of a five-over-a-side match, the umpires took the decision to call the game off at 3.30pm.

Spectators who had bought tickets for the match will receive a full refund. Full details can be found here.

Unfortunately, Blast Pass holders and hospitality guests are not eligible for a refund as per the terms and conditions of their purchase.

Many thanks to supporters for their patience this afternoon. Sussex Sharks next match takes place this Wednesday evening (1st August) at The 1st Central County Ground. Tickets are available to buy HERE.
