Sussex Women’s head coach and captain, Alexia Walker and Georgia Adams were the studio guests for a women’s cricket special on BBC Sussex’s weekly sports show, Sport in Focus on Tuesday night.
Joining host, Tim Durrans, Alexia and Georgia gave a fascinating insight into the workings of the women’s game, the running of the county side and the world class facilities at the home of Sussex Women’s cricket, the Sir Rod Aldridge Cricket Centre.
The duo also reflected on last week’s news that five Sussex players have been awarded England contracts – more than any other county – as well as looking ahead to the 2019 season.
