Worthing cricketer shares story on Sussex Cricket Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub after raising nearly £6,000 for Mind

2 Feb 2021

Worthing Cricket Club player, Adam Bardouleau has shared his experience of grief and his incredible fundraising effort for mental health charity, Mind, on the new Sussex Cricket Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub.

Adam lost his brother, Matt, to suicide in August 2019 and has been urging people to share their experiences of mental health ever since. As part of that effort and in memory of Matt, Adam has raised nearly £6,000 for mental health charity Mind by running over 200 miles in 30 days as part of their Move for Mind campaign.

The 26-year-old  PE teacher at Dorset House School in Bury has explained what happened to Matt, how it effected his family, how he has dealt with the experience and his hopes for making it easier to talk about our mental health on the Sussex Cricket Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub Champions Cinema
