Tom Haines to captain side against Hampshire

Young batsman, Tom Haines will captain the Sussex 2nd XI in their Second Eleven Trophy match against Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl on Tuesday.

Haines is one of five contracted players in the side, which also includes representatives from the Sussex Boys Academy and Sussex Cricket League.

Former Worcestershire and Surrey professional, Aneesh Kapil makes his Sussex 2nd XI debut.

This is Sussex’s second match in the competition, following on from the defeat against Essex in April.
