Three changes to squad ahead of top of table clash with Surrey

A squad of twelve has been announced for Sussex Women’s Royal London One-Day Championship match against Surrey at Reed’s School on Sunday.

Beth Harvey and Academy girls Ella McCaughan and Ella Wadey are included, whilst Izzy Collis, Cassidy McCarthy and Linsey Smith miss out from the twelve selected ahead of the opening weekend.

Fifteen-year-old McCaughan comes into the squad following her unbeaten hundred during Sussex Under-15’s win against Essex last Saturday.

Sussex Women are the early leaders of division two after two comprehensive victories over Derbyshire and Northamptonshire over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Surrey are just a batting bonus point behind in second place, however, having won their opening two matches as well.

Play gets underway at 11am and entry to the ground is free. Match updates are available via the @SussexWomen twitter account.
