Sussex Cricket would like to apologise to supporters of Sussex and Hampshire for any inconvenience or frustrations they may have had with our live stream during the two-day friendly on Monday and Tuesday.
Following extensive testing on both those days and more this morning (Wednesday 29th), including an upgrade in streaming software and hardware, we are confident that come Saturday morning, our streaming service will be up and running as supporters would expect.
Following the switch to new stream provider, NV Play and introduction of in-game graphics such as partnership statistics, scorecards and replays, we did encounter some technical difficulties during our first match of 2020 but we are positive that these issues have been ironed out, ahead of the weekend's play.
With our Bob Willis Trophy campaign set to get underway behind closed doors, we want to bring our loyal fanbase as close to the action as possible and any issues that arise will be immediately managed to ensure supporters are receiving the best possible online match experience.
Every minute of untelevised Sussex action this season will be streamed live and for free via matchday centre, with the footage synchronised alongside BBC Radio Sussex commentary.
