Sussex Cricket will be proudly supporting the Rainbow Laces campaign at this Sunday’s Vitality Blast match against Hampshire at The 1st Central County Ground.
Players will don their rainbow laces at the fixture to show that cricket is everyone’s game and the LGBT people are welcome and included at every level.
The rainbow flag will also be flying at the front gates, the only time the club flag is replaced on a match day.
The stumps for the match will be adorned with rainbow stripes, our flagbearers will welcome the players onto the pitch with rainbow flags and the big screen will feature the rainbow.

For the second year in succession ECB has joined forces with LGBT equality charity Stonewall to bring Rainbow Laces to the Vitality Blast and Kia Super League matches taking place between today and Sunday.
To recognise the whole of the Rainbow Laces weekend and next weekend’s Brighton and Hove Pride 2018, the profile pictures on the Sussex Cricket social media accounts will be changed to a specially created rainbow version of the Sussex Sharks logos from Friday 27th July until Monday 6th August.
