Stuart Whittingham has been included in the Scotland squad that will battle for one of the two remaining spots at the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
Scotland are one of ten teams that will take part in the qualifying tournament in Zimbabwe next month.
Twenty-three-year-old right-arm seamer, Stuart will travel with the squad to Pretoria in South Africa for a pre-tournament camp on Thursday 15th February.
Once in Zimbabwe, Scotland have two warm-up watches against Papua New Guinea and Ireland, before taking on Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Zimbabwe and one of two teams from this month’s World Cricket League Division 2 in Group B when the qualifying tournament gets underway on Sunday 4th March.
The sides in Group A are Ireland, West Indies, Netherlands, Papua New Guinea and the second team from World Cricket League Division 2.
The top three sides from both groups will then take part in a Super Six Phase. The final takes place on Sunday 24th March.
