Southern Vipers to play 2019 KSL group match at The 1st Central County Ground

Full details of Southern Vipers’ Kia Super League group match at The 1st Central County Ground next summer have now been released.

The Vipers will welcome Lancashire Thunder to Hove on Thursday 15th August for a floodlit match. The game will be the second of the Vipers’ five group matches in next year’s tournament.

The fixture is the first of two Vipers group matches taking place in Sussex in 2019. The team will also host Surrey Stars at Arundel Castle on Sunday 18th August.

Those two matches will help decide which of the six KSL teams will make it to Finals Day, also at Hove, on Sunday 1st September.

Kia Super League Finals Day is one of two major women’s matches at The 1st Central County Ground, with the home of Sussex Cricket also hosting a Women’s IT20 as part of next summer’s Ashes series.

Tickets for Southern Vipers v Lancashire Thunder, England v Australia and Kia Super League Finals Day will all go on sale from the Sussex Cricket website on Friday 1st February 2019.
