Sussex Sharks play their final match in the South Group of this year’s Royal London One-Day Cup against Essex Eagles at The Saffrons, Eastbourne on Sunday.
Sharks head coach, Jason Gillespie has selected a 14-man squad for the trip to the east of the county.
A sore ankle has ruled out overseas player Ishant Sharma from what was due to be his final appearance for the club. Abi Sakande replaces the Indian seamer in the squad.
Left-handed batsman Tom Haines has been added to the group that travelled to Cardiff for Friday’s fixture against Glamorgan.
Sussex lost that match by six wickets, all but ending their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages.
Reflecting on that defeat and looking ahead to Sunday, Gillespie said: “We were all disappointed with how we played at Glamorgan. We were outplayed in all disciplines of the game.
“With the bat, we got a lot of starts without a big score and with the ball we gave them too many easy opportunities to score runs.
“We were out-hustled in the field, which is disappointing because that is something we pride ourselves on.
“We will look to be better at all those things tomorrow against Essex. We know they will be a tough side to beat and are relishing the challenge.”
A large crowd is expected at The Saffrons with the weather set fair. Tickets are available on the gates, which open at 9.30am. Play gets underway at 11am.
