Schedule for men's pre-season tour announced

The full schedule for Sussex men’s pre-season tour to Cape Town has now been confirmed.

Those players  that are currently in South Africa for a warm-weather training camp led by Mike Yardy will be joined by the remainder of the squad and coaching staff in Cape Town on Monday 11th March.

Sussex will then play four 50-over matches during the 13-day trip, with two fixtures against Kent, one versus Durham and one against a Western Province invitational side.

The side return to Hove on Saturday 23rd March ahead of the first pre-season match on home soil against Hampshire at The 1st Central County Ground on Monday 25th March.

Mon 11th March – arrival

Thu 14th March – Sussex v Kent – Stellenbosch University, 11am

Fri 15th March – Sussex v Kent – Claremont CC, 11am

Wed 20th March – Sussex v Durham University, Cape Town CC, 11am

Fri 22nd March – Sussex v Western Province Invitational, Vineyard Oval, 11am

Sat 23rd March – departure
