Rain forces abandonment of Essex match

Sussex's Second Eleven T20 match against Essex at The 1st Central County Ground on Friday was abandoned without a ball bowled due to persistent rain.

The team's next fixture in the tournament is against Surrey, behind closed doors at Blackstone Academy Ground, sponsored by Hurstpierpoint College, on Monday.
