The side for Sussex’s final match in the Royal London Women’s One-Day Championship against Berkshire at North Maidenhead CC on Sunday has been announced.
Georgia Elwiss, Sarah Taylor and Danni Wyatt are unavailable due to England’s forthcoming series against South Africa
Sussex sit on top of division two with four wins from their six matches so far. A win will guarantee their immediate return to the top-flight.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s fixture, Sussex captain Georgia Adams said: “It’s so rewarding to see the hard work put in this winter pay off with the team’s performances this season.
“We set out to play positive and exciting cricket and that is what we have achieved, with every single player in the team contributing.
“We are all ready ahead of the big game on Sunday, to not only gain promotion but also we want to win the league.
“The team dynamic and ethos has been faultless this year and I believe that’s played a huge part in our success and hopefully we will be celebrating on Sunday!”
Sunday's fixture gets underway at 11am. Updates will be available on the @SussexWomen twitter account.
