Batsman, Phil Salt, has travelled to Australia to begin a nine-week course at the prestigious Darren Lehmann Academy in Adelaide.
Salt is enrolled on the full-time High Performance Programme that counts 19 international and over 100 first class cricketers as alumni, including current England test captain, Joe Root.
During his time in Adelaide, Salt will also represent Adelaide University CC in South Australia Premier Cricket.
He will count fellow Sussex player, Michael Burgess as a teammate at the club. Burgess has been with Adelaide University since November, impressing with both bat and wicketkeeping gloves.
Keep in touch with Phil, Michael and the rest of the Sussex players in action overseas this winter with our weekly ‘Winter Watch’ round-up.
