Nujum Sports visit Sussex to deliver educational workshop on dressing room culture

14 Mar 2023

Founder and CEO of Nujum Sports, Ebs Rahman visited The 1st Central County Ground this week to deliver an educational workshop to the Sussex players, coaches and support staff.

The session follows the news that Sussex Cricket signed the Muslim Athlete Pledge in January 2023 to demonstrate its commitment to equality and diversity for all.

The workshop was centred around dressing room culture and how players and members of staff can help to identify, discuss and confront difficult issues that can arise, particularly in multi-faith or multi-cultured groups.

Ebs Rahman, Founder and CEO said: "This is the start of a relationship with Sussex, who signed the Muslim athlete charter last month. We will work together to bring positive change in the sport."
