Nine Sussex players in 2018 Kia Super League

Nine members of the Sussex Women's squad have been selected by teams for this season’s Kia Super League which gets underway this Sunday 22nd July.

Sussex captain, Georgia Adams, as well as Tara Norris, Georgia Elwiss, Linsey Smith and Abbey Freeborn are part of the Loughborough Lightning squad. England star, Elwiss, will captain the side.

Paige Scholfield and Elwiss’ England teammate, Danni Wyatt, are with Southern Vipers, Sarah Taylor will play for Surrey Stars and Freya Davies is part of the Western Storm squad.

Ellen Burt had been part of the Surrey Stars set-up until she was forced to pull out through injury.

Sussex’s Surrey Stars and Southern Vipers representatives will be in action at The 1st Central County Ground on Tuesday 14th August as part of a double header with the Sussex Sharks v Glamorgan Vitality Blast fixture. Tickets are available to buy HERE.
