Luke Wright was named winner of the 'Porsche Performance of the Month' award for April following his excellent 166 against Middlesex in the Royal London One-Day Cup.
The incredible innings was the highest ever individual score in our one-day history - until it was broken by David Wiese six days later!
The award was picked up on behalf of Luke Wright by Business Relations Manager Tony Cottey at the clubs latest Boundary Club event.
Wright's stunning innings was one of four performances shortlisted in a poll voted on by the @SussexCCC followers on Twitter.
Phil Salt's 134 not-out against Kent, Stiaan van Zyl's 101 not-out against Durham and Luke Well's 98, also against Durham, were the other nominees, but 72% of voters thought Wright's performance with the bat at the Home of Cricket was the deserving winner.
The 34-year-old will be rewarded for his performance with use of a Porsche 718 Boxster for a weekend.
