Sussex Sharks’ Vitality Blast captain, Luke Wright has joined Dhaka Dynamites for their remaining matches in this year’s Bangladesh Premier League.
Having arrived in the Bangladeshi capital this morning, Luke will be available for the Dynamites’ final group game against Khulna Titans on Saturday and the knock-out stages should they progress.

At the time of writing, Dhaka sit in fifth position having won five and lost five of their ten matches so far. They are currently in action against Comilla Victorians and require 128 runs for victory.
A win would take the Dynamites into fourth place in the table by dint of a superior net run-rate to Rajshahi Kings, who they would be tied on with 12 points. The Kings have played all twelve of their group games.
The third and fourth places teams at the end of the group stage will play an ‘eliminator’ match to decide who will then play against the loser of the first ‘qualifier’ match between the first and second-placed sides on . The winner of that second ‘qualifier’ fixture will then contest the final against the winner of the first ‘qualifier’ match.
Luke will become the third Sussex player to play in this year’s Bangladesh Premier League. Laurie Evans and David Wiese are members of the Rajshahi Kings and Khulna Titans squads respectively.
