Laurie Evans will leave Sussex and join Surrey on a two-year deal following the conclusion of the 2020 cricket season.
The batsman, who joined Sussex in December 2016, has been on loan at Surrey for their last two Bob Willis Trophy matches, and will play for them again when they face Kent this weekend.
Following the conclusion of that match, Evans will return to Hove and play for Sussex Sharks in this year's Vitality Blast - a tournament he has shone in over the last two seasons.
Evans said: "I have enjoyed my time tremendously at Hove and would like to take this opportunity to wish players and supporters all the best for the future."
Everyone at Sussex Cricket looks forward to welcoming Laurie back to Sussex for our Vitality Blast campaign, and wish him all the very best in his next chapter at Surrey.
