Jofra Archer has withdrawn from this weekend’s Hong Kong T20 Blitz through injury.
The 22-year-old was scheduled to play for Galaxy Gladiators Lantau in the tournament but has been ruled out as a result of an injury to his left ankle.
He has returned to Sussex to be assessed and receive treatment.
Archer will form part of the Quetta Gladiators squad for their first four matches in the Pakistan Super League later this month.
He will then rejoin Sussex for their pre-season preparations before heading to the Indian Premier League where he is part of the Rajasthan Royals squad.
