Sussex begin their final pre-season friendly on Monday with Surrey making the trip down the A23 for a two-day red-ball match at The 1st Central County Ground, Hove.
After arriving in the UK on Thursday, overseas signing Ishant Sharma is set to make his first appearance in a Sussex shirt.
Meanwhile, South African pair Stiaan van Zyl and David Wiese are back in town and are included in Sussex’s 13-man squad.
Surrey have taken a similar approach to Sussex when it comes to their preparations for the season, with friendlies during an overseas tour and then back in the UK.
The brown-caps spent ten days in Dubai last month, where they played four 50-over matches.
They then took on Kent in a two-day red-ball match – a draw - at Canterbury on Thursday and Friday this week.
Following tomorrow’s match, Sussex’s next appointment is their first Specsavers County Championship encounter of the season. Starting next Friday 13th April, the team take on relegated Warwickshire at Edgbaston.

Sussex’s first competitive action of 2018 at The 1st Central County Ground, Hove is against Gloucestershire in the Championship starting on Friday 27th April. Catch every ball of that match, and every other Sussex home match in the Specsavers County Championship and group stages of the Royal London One-Day Cup - as well as the tour match against Australia - by becoming a Member.
