After two wins against Essex on the opening day of the season, Sussex resume their Vitality Women's County T20 campaign with two matches against Hampshire at Brighton Aldridge Community Academy on Monday.
A squad of 13 has been named for the matches, with captain Georgia Adams and wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor included after missing out last week through injury and illness respectively.
Carla Rudd joins Paige Scholfield on the injured list, while Beth Harvey - after her last minute addition last week - is included in place of Sophie Grayson.
Monday's visitors are looking to get their season up and running after suffering two defeats to Middlesex last Sunday.
Looking ahead to the matches, Sussex coach Alexia Walker said, "After two very pleasing wins with a young squad against Essex, we welcome back captain Georgia Adams after recovering from a back issue. This will be the first time Georgia will lead the county after her recovery from shoulder surgery this winter and we are delighted to have her back at the helm.
"Unfortunately Carla Rudd needs to be rested after suffering a mild concussion and while she manages a back issue but thankfully Sarah Taylor has recovered from illness so will take the gloves for Sussex on Monday. We are look to build on a strong start to the season as we take on our Regional neighbours, Hampshire, who will offer strong opposition in all departments."
Skipper, Adams added, "I’m over the moon to be putting on the Sussex shirt again tomorrow, it will be a great contest against our Southern Vipers team mates in the Hampshire side but hopefully our young stars can continue their excellent form from last week.”
Monday’s first match begins at 11am and the second at 3pm. Unfortunately, government restrictions mean no spectators will be allowed to attend the fixtures. You can follow the action - including video clips - on the Sussex Women's Play Cricket page.
