Freya Davies, Nancy Harman, Linsey Smith and Luke Wright have been retained by their The Hundred teams for 2021.
Freya stays with Lord’s-based London Spirit, Linsey with Headingly-based Northern Superchargers and Nancy and Luke at Trent Bridge-based Trent Rockets.
Wednesday saw 57 players retained across all eight city-based teams. The retention window for the men’s competition is now closed, with remaining slots in each sides’ roster being filled by a draft on Tuesday 23rd February. There is a total of 35 spaces remaining.
Women’s team cans continue to sign players until June. Reacting to her retention by London Spirit, Freya Davies said: “Lord’s is a brilliant place to play cricket and it’ll be really special to call it home with London Spirit this summer. The Hundred is a fantastic opportunity, representing another important step in growing the sport for women and girls.”
