FHP wins Sussex Cricket Society Player of the Year Award

15 Jan 2024

Last week Fynn Hudson-Prentice was presented with the Sussex Cricket Society Player of the Year Award by David Gower at The 1st Central County Ground.

Over 130 Society members and special guests Fynn Hudson-Prentice and Les Lenham enjoyed lunch and an excellent talk from David Gower on Wednesday in Cow Corner.

Sussex Cricket Society members were treated to a great lunch and a fun, entertaining and informative afternoon.

What is the Sussex Cricket Society?

The Sussex Cricket Society was formed on 6 April 1965 from a happy thought by Alan Oakman, the former Sussex and England cricketer.

The aims and objectives of the Society are "To further cricket interest and enthusiasm and to provide a source of contact between cricket lovers and to promote and conduct meetings, social functions and other gatherings."

To this end the Society holds 6 monthly meetings from October through to March.

If you wish to join you the Society for their next event, it is a lunch with Geoff Miller on Wednesday 14th February.

If you aren't already a member you can join for just £20 by visiting: www.sussexcricketsociety.org
