El Capitan heading to ElClasicoast!

Sussex Cricket are delighted to announce that Brighton & Hove Albion skipper Bruno will be our guest of honour for the Sussex Sharks v Hampshire fixture in the Vitality Blast on Sunday 29th July.

Bruno, who has a keen interest in cricket, will be present at the game and will join both captains in the middle for the toss ahead of this much anticipated local derby. And it’s sure to be a family affair, as his children will also lead the Sharks out as club mascots on the day.

Sussex have a great affinity with our footballing neighbours and share a common fanbase, who saw Brighton & Hove Albion successfully retain their Premier League status for another season.

The Sharks are flying high in the Vitality Blast, after winning three from their first four, and will look to cement their place at the top of the table as they head to Kent on Friday, before returning to The 1st Central County Ground for the arrival of Hampshire on Sunday.

Gates open at 1pm, with the match scheduled to start at 2.30pm. Tickets are selling fast and there are still limited seats available throughout the ground, including in the Jointing tech Shark Stand and the newly installed SEA LIFE Family Stand.
