David Wiese's record-breaking 171 from 126 balls against Hampshire in the Royal London One-Day Cup was voted by followers of the @SussexCCC twitter account as May's Porsche Performance of the Month.
The all-rounder was presented with his award by Hannah Barnes of Porsche Centre Mid-Sussex during the lunch interval of Sussex's Specsavers County Championship match against Durham.
As his prize, David will have use of a Porsche 718 Boxter for a weekend.
His winning performance broke the record for the highest individual score by a Sussex player in one-day cricket. David arrived in the middle with Sussex 74 for 4 and needing another 282 runs for victory.
His 232-run sixth-wicket partnership with Ben Brown took the team agonisingly close to an incredible win. During his innings, David hit 14 fours and nine sixes.
