David Wiese wins April's Porsche Performance of the Month

David Wiese was handed the 'Porsche Performance of the Month' award for April following his excellent 106 against Warwickshire.

The South African has made a fine start to the 2018 season, and was given his award by Hannah Banks from Porsche Centre Mid-Sussex during last week's Royal London One-Day Cup match against Middlesex.

Wiese's stunning century in the opening match of the Specsavers County Championship campaign was one of four performances shortlisted in a poll voted on by the @SussexCCC followers on Twitter. 

Ben Brown's 91 in the draw against Warwickshire, Luke Wells' 102 against Leicestershire and Wiese's 5-48 against Gloucestershire were also nominated, but 56% of voters thought Wiese's performance with the bat at Edgbaston was a deserving winner. 

The all-rounder was rewarded for his performance with use of a Porsche 718 Boxster for the weekend.
