David Wiese is the latest Shark to be heading abroad this winter after he was signed by Mzansi Super League side, Paarl Rocks.
The South African will replace Cameron Delport, who is part of the T10 league in Dubai, and joins the Rocks alongside Australia and Gloucestershire batsman Michael Klinger.
Wiese played a vital role in Sussex reaching the 2018 Vitality Blast final, taking 5-24 during our opening victory against Essex, and he smashed a total of 167 runs en route to Edgbaston - including a fantastic 52 in the semi-final win against Somerset.
During his career, the all-rounder has 172 T20 appearances, in which he has scored 1444 runs at a formidable 145.56 strike rate. He has also taken 137 wickets at an average of 24.96.
James Fortuin, chief executive officer of the Rocks, said: "We have put together a very promising side who I’m sure will make us proud.
"With Faf du Plessis‚ Tabraiz Shamsi and Dwayne Bravo as part of our arsenal, we’ve blended a good mix of youth and experience."
The MSL Super League gets underway on 16th November, with the final exactly one month later.
