Danny Briggs selected for Lions tour of India

Danny Briggs has been selected in the 15-man England Lions squads for both the 50-over and ‘Test’ legs of their tour to India next January and February.

The Lions will play five 50-over matches and two four-day ‘Tests’ against India A during their visit.

The trip will be Briggs’ second Lions tour of the winter after he was part of the squad that took on Pakistan A in the UAE  in November and December.

The left-arm spinner played in all but one fixture of the eight-match tour that saw the hosts narrowly win the four-day and 50-over series and the Lions take the T20 leg.
