A sensational century from Sussex’s Danni Wyatt powered England to a crushing victory over India in Mumbai in the second match of their T20 international tri-series.
Wyatt’s 64-ball 124 included the second fastest hundred in women’s T20Is and ensured England overcame India’s imposing total of 199-3 with seven wickets and eight balls in reserve.
England’s was the highest ever successful chase in women’s T20Is, breaking their own record from last November when they scored 181 to beat Australia in Canberra.
Wyatt was the star on that occasion as well, making 139 as England won by six wickets.
The 26-year-old is just the second woman to make two T20I centuries.
England have made the perfect start to the tri-series having also beaten Australia in their first match on Friday.
Danni and her teammates will next be in action on Wednesday when they meet Australia again.
