Sussex all-rounder, Chris Jordan has been added to the England Lions squad for the first two matches of their one-day Tri-Series that starts this week.
Jordan will be available for the match against India A this Friday 22nd June and the match against West Indies A the day after, Saturday 23rd June.
This follows the call up of Surrey’s Sam Curran and Somerset’s Craig Overton from the Lions to the full England squad for the final two Royal London ODIs against Australia.
As a result of his selection, Jordan has been withdrawn from Sussex’s 13-man squad for their Specsavers County Championship match against Durham that starts at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground this morning.
Left-hand top-order batsman and right-arm seamer, Tom Haines has been added to the squad in Jordan’s place.
