Archer & Jordan picked up in IPL auction

Sussex’s Jofra Archer & Chris Jordan will take part in the 2018 Indian Premier League after being picked up in this weekend’s auction.

Archer was bought by the Rajasthan Royals on Saturday for around £800,000, 17 times his reserve price.

On Sunday, Chris Jordan’s services were acquired by Sunrisers Hyderabad for his reserve price of around £110,000. This will be Jordan’s second consecutive year with the franchise.

Tymal Mills and David Wiese –Sussex’s other players entered in the auction - were unsold.

This year’s IPL runs from 7th April to 27th May.
