Rain and a wet outfield meant that only one day's play was possible in Sussex's Second XI Championship fixture against Kent at Blackstone Academy Ground, sponsored by Hurstpierpoint College this week.
That was enough time for Ali Orr to score his second century of this year's competition as Sussex made 268 for 5 on the final day after winning the toss and batting.
The 20-year-old received support from Stiaan van Zyl (51), Ben Brown (42) and Jack Carson (40) on his way to 109 from 240 balls. He is now the Second XI Championship's leading run-scorer with 491 runs from his 11 innings so far.

Sussex's next match in the competition is against Gloucestershire at Rockhampton CC, beginning on Monday 16th August.
